Flames and smoke damaged the interior of the Star Theater in downtown Willow Springs Saturday afternoon. He said he stopped and opened the front door to the theater and saw smoke in the building. He then notified police and Willow Springs Fire Department who then responded to the fire. West Plains, Pomona, Eleven Point, Mtn. View Fire Departments responded to the blaze.
Bailey and Lou Wehmer, who is also on the theater’s board, said it will be rebuilt and it will be a community-wide effort.
